Happy Dipawali!!!

Diwali, or Deepavali  – the Festival of Lights is an ancient Hindu festival celebrating the victory of light over darkness and hope over despair.  Having originated as a Harvest Festival, during this time, prayers are often directed towards Lakshmi – the goddess of Prosperity, for a successful new year. While Diwali is an official holiday in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mauritius, Guyana, Trinidad, Suriname, Malaysia ,Singapore and Fiji – we continue to celebrate with our global brothers and sisters in Florida, South Africa, England, Australia and all across the globe! This year, the five day festival falls from today, October 23rd through October 27th .
